Im glad that you are getting a second opinion from another vet, this is not normal and a good vet would never give vaccinations to a sick puppy and say "he should be fine".
How old is the pup? how much does the pup weigh?
Also where did you get this pup from and have you contacted the breeder?
I will keep your pup in my prayers and hope that he gets better soon, if you think he is sick or if he vomits again do not hesitate in taking him back to the vet.
Its better to be safe then sorry and these little ones can go down fast.
