Ive been lucky if I can get him to eat once a day. Ive tried pumpkin and chicken which he wanted nothing to do with either one. I can get him to drink water 2 or 3 times a day if I wake him up and make him drink other than that all he does is sleep. The vet tells me he SHOULD be fine but should isnt good enough for me does anyone have any ideas on what this cuold be and how to fix it? He is also pooping in his crate on his bedding dont know if this has anything to do with it or not.
I don't know where you got your pup from but am aware of many bad back yard breeders and mill situations in your area. If your pup is from one of these breeders there is a good chance he could have giardia or coccidia and either could cause diarrhea or loose stools. Also, it's not always easily detected with a stool sample....did you take a stool sample in with you or were they able to get one at the vets for testing?
