These dogs are the ones that deserve the praise and the kudos for surviving this with their spirits still intact. I know I would not fair so well.... |
I too will never forget the feeling I had either of learning all about this world of greed and torture after I walked out of a petstore 10 years ago with two yorkies, one very sick from the very first day. I am assuming that you will be forever changed by your experience.
Congratulations for speaking up about this kennel club. Advocacy is hard work but it is better to stand up for what you believe in than to stand in the background, even if your views are unpopular...
You are correct that it takes a lot to break the spirit of a dog. How anyone could be mean to an animal I'll never understand.
I too hope that these four girls find a rescue that can take them in, and to that end, I am still available to help with transport - I'm in Providence. If things are firmed up let me know if I can help in that regard.
