! Bonny, I know what you're feeling. After Pfeiffer's spay, she really hurt that first 1-2 days. The pain med we came home with wasn't giving her good pain control - so over the next 2 days, I was on the phone w/ her vet and we tried a few different things to help the pain. Finally, I got her pain level where it needed to be. Poor babies!
I think Pf began to snap back after about days 3 & 4...and then every day from there was improvement...where we had to remind her to stay more calm

Do you have any onesies? Those can help w/ the licking too.
