I defiantly think males make the better companions. They are so devoted and faithful. It's really unbelieveable how loving they are! Like right NOW! I am Yorkless LOL All my males sleep in their crates at night. There are 6 females laying all over the furniture snoozing. Not ONE of them is paying attention to mom. Not one! LOL My guys would be trying to all get in my lap at one time. The darn gals are aloof and demand attention on their terms. Both sexes mark territory. Both sexes hump. These behaviors are personnality traits for the most part. You should have a male neutered if he's not going to be bred. And no I've never had a male gain weight from neutering. I do have loving females but the males are so much more loving.
