I agree with what you guys are saying. There
is a limit for me. I'm not sure what that number is, but I would know it if I saw it.
What I was just trying to convey in my post was some of the points of pet ownership (sickness, vet bills, etc) that they may not be as prepared for as they'd like. I wasn't saying that only people with money should own a dog. Trust me, my husband is in the Air Force, and if you look at their pay charts, we don't make all that much money
But we do have savings for the dogs' health, as well as health insurance for us and the children.
Anyway, I hope I didn't offend anyone, I certainly didn't mean to.
