Please, if you can, could you guys give me some idea of how long your bitches (or Dams
) come into heat?
I ask because my female has had 6 months since her first one and Im on the lookout for it now but I know it isnt an exact science that I can predict! Everyone has a different time line! As soon as she comes into heat she needs to be watched carefully and moved inside.
I have heard that small dogs usually have it every 6 months - then others say 8 to 9 months. what is your experience?
