The OP has gotten really great advice so far! I just wanted to add my 2 cents: please spay your little girl! If you ever wonder if a dog should be allowed to complete a pregnancy, ask yourself: Is that dog a champion? Were all the applicable health tests done? If you can't say yes to both questions, you need to spay, please. If you don't understand why this is so important, please educate yourself by spending some more time on YT. There are too many sick Yorkies in the world, not to mention dogs without homes.

I recently went out with a local rescue organization to rescue dogs in a township and we found a heavily pregnant female. She was going to have puppies very soon. The owner had no experience and any dog in the neighbourhood could have been the daddy, so we loaded her up and took her to the vet. To my shock, they spayed her immediately and she went home to her owner the next day. The unborn puppies were discarded. I know how that sounds and I was very, very shocked and appalled when I found out, but I understand why they did it. They are pro-life and all their dogs are fostered (no kennels) - they really care. And they spayed her.

There are too many dogs already. If they are here, love them and care for them properly by being responsible. But if they aren't, make the tough decision for the betterment of the dogs already here.
