I have heard that females are alpha personalities and males are lovers. I chose a male because I wanted a snuggler and a lover. He is my baby. He does not hike or mark. Hiking is a learned behavior so he was never exposed to other males that hiked before he was neutered at 6 months. I was never intending to breed so it was not necessarry to wait any longer than 6 months to neuter him. I think you should go with what fits your personality. I am a dominant personality so I did not want to clash with my baby so I chose a male. Do what makes you happy. |
