Bedtime is a time to get some Betty Boop love! My husband will play with Betty Boop for about 30 minutes each night to try and get her tired, but it never works! She is so full of energy all day long. Around 8:30ish each night, Betty Boop's internal alarm clock goes off and she knows it's bedtime. She will come to me and get my attention and turn circles. Then, I say "Let's go get some lovin'!" We both run to the bed, she jumps in her Yorkie Haven Rescue bed (which I put on top of my bed every night. I really need to get another one!), turns over on her back, and begs for belly rubs and kisses. When I settle down under the covers, this is her time to get under them, too. She digs and digs to prepare her spot, and then all of a sudden she will pop her head up and bump the sheet on top of her. She does this over and over. After all of this, she will come out from under the cover and snuggle in my arms and under my chin, just like she has done from the first night I brought her home. She is the most lovable little dog I've ever had. Sometimes, I wish I was her, because she is so spoiled and never wants for anything! And also because she has more clothes than I do, and also looks better in her clothes than I look in mine!
