All the stories are so cute!
I set up the pillows and bring out the blankies, so I have to put Kaji on the floor until everything is set up. He impatiently waits and huffs to let me know he's ready for bed. I settle in, hold the blanket up and say "Ok." Kaji hops right up and curls up right by my belly.
Now, this is a little secret of mine, so please promise to keep it to yourself.
I've slept with the same teddy bear for the last 20+ years. I stole it from my big bro when I was 2, and we've been bunk buddies ever since. Well, last year, the teddy got the boot and Kaji took his place.
I'll pull up Kaji right under my chin and we'll both settle in and cuddle for night night time. I stroke his head and rub his belly until I fall asleep. Kaji politely waits until I drift off to sleep before he settles in behind my knees for the night.
