Oh if you have to soak his food, maybe that's why he's a little on the thin side. Is it possible to feed him 4 times? Seriously, I woudn't worry about it, if the vet think he's at a safe weight, I'd continue doing what you are doing. Best of luck, and I hope he has no side effects from the shots. He sounds like a little sweetheart.
