This is the fifth day having our puppy and noticed slight blood after bm, into the Vet monday morning, said she has Giardia, a parasite, he said it is easy to treat when caught early. We had to put meds into gallon of distilled water and she only gets that for drinking (no other water) plus her food for the next ten days. We take her back for recheck on the 19th. She is doing fine. The meds seem to be working, hard to get her to drink though,guess she can smell the meds so when I notice she isn't drinking enough I have a small spoon and she licks the water from that:-) yeppers talk about spoiled. Allready, but thats ok she is so sweet, we both are so happy that we decided to get another. We call her baby now, am leaning towards calling her Grace or Blessin, hubby says call her Cassie cause she reminds us of how Cassie was when she was a baby. But, I don't feel comortable calling her that. Back to my knitting, making new sweaters for her, all real small size as we think she will stay quite small. I couldn't give her Cassie's things, she has to have her own. We are glad we found this site, it is great. Patti and Jack
