Thanks! I'm about to read the link you posted. I was just talking to my BF last night about that when I saw it (hopefully it was a misprint). I have a pic of my great grandma with a Yorkie--she was "flapper" dancer so it was like from the 30's anyways I pointed that out (1972 nonsense) he thinks they meant that Yorkies didn't come here in masses as popular pets until then but I also disagreed with that and it made me question the rest of the link too, but it was so similar to what I'd heard before too
