Are you using a collar or a harness? You should always use a harness so their throat can't get damaged.

When they have episodes of reverse sneezing gently put one hand on their shoulders and with your other hand curve your first finger over their nostrils, just the nostrils not the mouth, so they have to breathe out of their mouth. Not sure why or how this works but it does.

Reverse sneezing may be a 'normal' thing once in a while but if it happens a lot you should have it checked out to make sure it isn't allergies or a collapsed trachea.
