Some dogs do extremely well with this type of bone. I've been giving them to dogs for 50 years without a single problem. Course when the little meat that I leave on is chewed off, they lose interest. Guess it's best to start them out on "clean" bones so they don't get so spoiled. Here are the pictures of the beef femur bones the butcher cuts for me.
