I actually went to see his sister, I was sure I wanted a girl. However, I totally fell in love with him. They were not looking to sell him because the husband wanted to keep him. He just really liked him and felt that he was really special and wanted him to be well taken care of. I understood and left without either.
The wife called me after her husband came home and said that they talked about it and wanted me to have him. I know the wife and their daughter a little because our horses were once at the same stable. Anyhow, after hearing about me and the home he would have (inside all the time, companion yorkie, stay at home mom) they felt that this is what would be best for him.
Some people would not want a deaf dog, and he had two families wanting him. Guess he is a lucky doggy after all.
All I know is that it was love at first site and I am so thankful to have him!
