We live in Athens Greece and for the past week there is a big strike from people gathering garbage off the street. That means that all streets are filed with garbage and I wouldn't even dream of walking my dogs in that mess. I even disinfect my shoes when I get home. So you can imagine two Yorkies in an apartment for a week and one of them in heat!!! It's very difficult. We hope that by the end of this week the strike will end and we will be able to go out again.

Oh my -- that is a challenge! I had not thought of them using my treadmill (I have not even been using it myself ) I don't think mine are big enough -- I would worry they would stop and then get thrown. When it was in the family room, they would occasionally pee or poop on it. I think it was their way of saying they did not like it.

Athens sounds so romantic and I would think it would be so cool to live there but then I guess every cloud has both a silver and a dark lining. I would not care for the garbage pile up. But then New York had a garbage strike at least once. So, I guess it can happen all over.
