Sorry to hear about Gilmore... My baby has LP but I've never heard him screaming or crying. We were given some painkillers for him just in case he's in pain but all he does is lifting his leg. We were worried if it's caused by any leg injuries but the vet told us it's usually a genetic problem small breed dogs have.
