Hi all, I've been lurking here for a few weeks now gathering information from all of you wonderful Yorkie owners and felt it was time to introduce myself. I am considering a Yorkie, I've done a lot of research and feel this could be the dog for me. My concern is the dog would be at home by itself as I do work and I am single. I wouldn't want to be cruel or have the dog become depressed. So then I though well maybe I could get two and they could be company to each other while I am at work. A friend of mine here at work, who is also single, has two dogs, a Yorkie and a Chiuaua.

So I am at a cross roads in my decision. I hope I would be a good and responsible pet owner, I love animals so much and I really really want one. But my bigger concern is making sure my dog would be safe and happy.
