Thanks for the suggestions! And yorkieusa, I'd actually thought of using Kobie as a girl's name and I've seen Kodie as a girl too. My husband is pretty adamant about using a name that ends in that 'e' sound, but I didn't know that about dogs responding better to it.

Happyhart, I love the idea of the "themed" names and how your's all relate to magic. I'm trying to think of more names that have something to do with good luck charms since we've got a four leaf Clover (Chloe) but Penny was the only thing I've come up with so far. I mean, horseshoes but how do you make a dog name out of that!?! LOL

Zelah, I like Kari! We've also thought about Kyra and Karleigh/Carlie though I worry my husband would end up calling her Karl....When we first picked up Chloe, we were torn between Lily and Chloe but after meeting her Chloe was just perfect! I'm sure that will happen with our second one too.

Maria, I'm sure you are so right about ten times the fun!! Chloe absolutely loves to be chased and while we were home over Thanksgiving she would pester and pester her 13 pound schnauzer-cousin, Maggie, until Maggie would chase her. Maggie is only about 8 months old and not very coordinated so she didn't stand a chance of catching little 5 pound Chloe who is so agile and runs like a little bunny. It was hilarious to watch! And sometimes Chloe would suddenly spin around and come to a halt and Maggie would immediately quit chasing. I was a little nervous at first because Maggie is so much bigger than Chloe, but Chloe did great about standing up for herself without getting aggressive if Maggie got too carried away. (And I was right there in the floor with them the whole time, just in case!)
