I don't have a dog treadmill, I have a human treadmill. It's a bit tricky at the beginning but once they get the hang of it, they love it. A quarter of an hour to twenty minutes is more than enough. You could also try Nina Ottosson interactive games, they keep them occupied for a long time. Balloons are great to chase around the house. We live in Athens Greece and for the past week there is a big strike from people gathering garbage off the street. That means that all streets are filed with garbage and I wouldn't even dream of walking my dogs in that mess. I even disinfect my shoes when I get home. So you can imagine two Yorkies in an apartment for a week and one of them in heat!!! It's very difficult. We hope that by the end of this week the strike will end and we will be able to go out again.
