I don't have any advice but how great of you to take a special needs dog. One of our labs is blind (from diabetes) and I know how much extra work and committment it takes to have a pet like this. You will be amazed how much his other senses compensate for his loss. Good luck, he's so fortunate to have a home where someone is willing to put in the extra effort.
