Sorry can`t help with product review, but I do have some suggestions for matting.
Do you have silky coat, Razz is silk. For mats I use first my fingers,to spread mat and to see what I am dealing with. Then I use the end of a rat-tailed comb to start separating mat. If the mat is very very bad and near to skin, I place comb right on skin above mat (this is to make sure I don t get near to skin with the Chris Christensen tiny dematter slicker brush. This is to be used to break mat apart. Then back to the rat tail comb end to try again to clear mat out.
