Thanks Pixie is doing real well. My Cali has grade 4 in both legs and her knees are permanently out. So far they have not bothered her and she is 5 1/2. My vet said to just do a wait and see since she has a mild case of MVD and she prefers not to have to put her under for the surgery. My vet said she has treated several dogs with grade 4 LP and they lived their whole life with out needing surgery. The only reason I had surgery on Pixie is that she could not adjust to her knee being out and it would not stay in. Hopefully, with rest and some medicine Lulu will recover without surgery.
