Hopefully it is sore from the accidental injury. My Pixie walked off my bed)uses ramp normally but male I took in scared her)several months ago and seemed fine. The next day my DH called and said Pixie was falling over. I rushed home and she couldn't stand up. After awhile she started walking but holding the leg up. I took her to the ER of course regular vet was closed. They said LP. She had never been diagnosed with it so I was surprised. I had another er vet look at her and then my own vet. They all agreed it was Grade 3/4 LP and her knee would not stay in so they all recommended surgery after resting it didn't work. I still believe it was from the fall but the vets said it was LP and insurance denied all bills as it was genetic. I would really try and rest her in a crate until you go to the vet. Pixie wasn't use to being crated but did pretty good during her recovery. Hopefully with some medicine and rest LuLu will be fine and not need any further treatment. Good luck. I know how worrisome these little ones can make us.
