I think I would want to know and I'd appreciate a card and a picture - if nothing more than to put my mind at ease to know he is happy and loved...it would confirm that I did the right thing. I know it's not exactly the same - but I send Dee and Karen pictures of Greta every couple of weeks along with an e-mail to let them know how she's been doing. She was with them a year so I'm sure that Karen especially got attached to her. They seem to appreciate knowing she is loved. But that's just my opinion. |
