My girl has a cottony coat and boy am I struggling now.
I feel so bad for her, because of the problems getting the matts out. I spray her with a detangler and it helps a bit but no matter how careful you are, it seems it still pulls on their skin. I would like to really shorten her hair but I do worry about it being too chilly for that. I brush her out every morning before "we" go to work, but she is immediately in a harness and sometimes a sweater or coat and the matts begin immediately.
