I recommended the breeder I got my Princess (miniature schnauzer) from to several friends and family members, I'm actually facebook (cheesy I know) friends with my breeder so we comment to each-other pretty often. I also stay in contact with the Rescue I got another of my dogs from and sent them update pictures and talked about his transformation (he was severely abused) about 6 months or so after I got Scoobers-I'm friends with the adoption coordinator and we're both animal rights advocates in a mutual non-prof so we keep in touch for other reasons emailing each other often. I had a really horrid experience with the person I got my Elvis from and have ceased all contact on my part-still I'm surprised she said she cared for him so much and never bothered to ask how he has been doing since...
