Personally I would not use dulcolax.
Frozen green beans are fine to give, although I'm not sure they have a laxative effect.

If you want to increase her drinking, try adding a bit of fat free no salt added or low sodium chicken broth to her food and make it watery. I am talking like a tablespoon of chicken broth and dilute it. You could also try just adding food items with high water content (e.g. green beans). Canned food has higher water content than dry, so dogs will drink less on canned food than dry.

As for dry food, I home cook so I have no suggestions but I do know that LadyJane uses Castor and Pollux Organic dog kibble that can be purchased at Whole Foods Market or at Petsmart and she speaks highly of it and how well the dogs do.
