First post says "I have a 4lb yorkie shihtzu she is 2 years old. She had her second heat and I thought it was done so we went on a play date with my friends yorkie poo (3lbs). "
So I guess each dog had at least some yorkie in them. Since there are no registration papers for mixed breeds, you never know what is really in them. I have seen people call them yorkiepoos and shorkies when they may have been several generations of mixes and not just the result of two purebred dogs. So, it is no wonder the pups do not look like yorkies. I always hope none of the mixes look like yorkies so noone ends up selling them as purebreds down the line. Not meaning this poster.
