I bought this Party collar for Harley with jingle bells on it for Chirstmas and he hates having it on... but he loves to see it cause every time I take it out, I'd hold it and first if he walked towards it, I gave him a treat. Then after a few times, if he sniffed it, I'd give a treat, then I'd put the treat on it, and then through it and then give him treats for walking in it... He associates the collar with treats. You could try that, I think my trainer called it Shaping.
