Yes, it's the nylon bristle, black one. They do have a boar bristle but, I found that to be a waste of money. Since Boar bristles are just finishing brushes and I use a Mason Pearson boar bristle.
Nope, Not big at all I begin using it on my pups when they have their first bath at 8 weeks of age. These guys are barely 2 pounds if that at this age.
