Almost every new puppy owner goes through this. Puppies are like children and do not always eat full meals like we think they should. I prefer to free feed so they have food available at all times. Mine run in grab a kibble or two and are on their way. They never eat much at a time (except my Jack Russell). Don't worry too much. I don't think there has ever been a case where a puppy actually starved itself when food was available. People think they are but they will eat when they get hungry enough. Some days they are just not as hungry as others.

If you are feeding a good premium food, I would not rush to change it. You might sprinkle a little parmasean cheese on it to entice. But I don't even do that. I just keep the food out and they wind up eating it. I do like to get several premium samples and let my pups try them to see what they like best. I put out a bowl of each and see which one they eat first. Almost invariably they will eat all of one before the others. That is the one I go with. I ONLY give them top premium choices. Junk dog food is sort of like junk people food, they like the taste of it. So, stick with all good foods so you will be good with whatver choice they make.
