I had to use the pads for Reno and Clover (Beamer and Lil Bit are housebroken). If there were just peed on they went into the kitchen trash can, which has a "scented" garbage bag inside and a lid. If they were soiled they went into a plastic carrier bag (like someone said a "Walmart" or grocery) and then into the outside trash can.
