 Jersey was really sick today
He seemed fine when he woke ate breakfast running around like himself. Then it all started, he vomited about 6 times in a few hours and the last time was water like but looked like blood. DH rushed him to the vet (I was babysitting GD so I couldn't go). Vet thinks either virus or blockage of some kind. Jersey usually does not eat things that are around the house DH said vet gave shot ( I don't know the names of shots cause DH didn't remember ) to stop vomiting, shot for pain, antibiotic and something for dehydration.
Vet said no food tonight, in the AM give him a tablespoon of food if he keeps that down it shouldn't be a blockage.I am hoping it's a virus and not a blockage
Anyone have experience with anything like this?
