Wanted to share a recipe I created today. This is a diet friendly recipe, especially atkins diet.
Ingrediants:
Deveined, cooked, peeled shrimp 10-15 jumbo
Yellow Squash
Zucchini
Red Bell Pepper
Mushrooms
Tomato Sauce
Italian Seasoning
Sugar
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Garlic
In a saute pan heat olive oil. Add thawed shrimp tails off, veggetables, and mushrooms. Saute over medium heat until they are slightly browned and veggetables are crisp but cooked. Add Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, marjoram, ext) and salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. Then add in a little bit of tomato sauce and a pinch of sugar to sweeten. Saute until warm and serve.
Pasta can be added in the final stage with the tomato sauce, I recommend penne or bow tie.
