Katie was the only female dog in the house. I have a 10 yr old Boston Terrier that she barely tolerates and a 5 yr old male yorkie too. But over the last yr, we've added two outside dogs - a Beagle who's under 2 and a female Boxer who seems to be under 2 as well. You'd think she was in attack mode when the outside dogs are let in for the evening. I think we just need to make sure that we let her know we will not put up with that kind of behavior. I think it's just a territorial issue and since she's the smallest, she thinks she's the alpha. It's funny because all of the other dogs could really hurt her but they all act afraid of her. We definitely have some un-training to do. |
