I agree, finding the quietest professional dryer is what is needed.

Being a groomer, I've used countless. I have a Double K stand drier at home (that I use on those rare occassions when I'm grooming a double coated breed). My mentor gave me a Qui Eeta (an old drier that is about 45 years old and cannot be found anymore) I love it. It's quiet and with soft flowing air that is so crucial when cultivating a coat for the ring. The only thing that I've found comperable is an Oster Drier.
