Why would you not be able to meet her? Or is it you can't meet her? How would you be picking her up? when I was screening families for Katie, one of *my* conditions as a foster mom was you need to come to Katie and meet her and if you had any furbabies they needed to meet her as well. The best couple came through and drove down from San Jose to us and brought their dog and he had the final say. He loved Katie, didn't care for Uni, she is too hyper.

Now, do you have any other pets? If not, it would be easier for you for not meeting her, and just know in your heart you may have to work with her in adjusting. Anyway, the foster mom would know the personality of the dog best, and if she thinks you are a potential match for the dog, then I would trust her.
