I adopted a little girl from out of state. But we were able to drive up there with Rhett to meet her before making it final.

As for the clothes, to me that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Even if you got a puppy you'd have no guarantee that she would like the clothes. And who knows, it could be that she just hasn't been exposed to them long enough to make her tolerate them. Rhett always fights being dressed for at least the first 30 minutes. But then he surrenders and just goes with the flow. (The belly band on the other hand...)
