Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes. These are all just an excuse to eat CINNAMON ROLLS! These are not your garden variety rolls -- it's a "technique" handed down from my grandmother. The dough is rolled really thin, coated with sugar, cinnamon, and margarine (I know, but we only have them at Thanksgiving and Christmas), and baked until barely done. They come out gooey and crunchy at the same time and are more like candy than rolls.
We made a huge batch of them last weekend and they're in the freezer waiting to go to various households on Thursday. But now that I've described them, I'm really wanting to go home and sneak some out of one of the pans. |
