Can you post a picture of your yorkie so we can see his hair? There are many different types of haircuts you can try with your boy. A puppy cut simply means same length all over (meaning legs and body are the same length). the hair could be anywhere from 1/4in to 2 inches long and still be considered a puppy cut. Shaved short all over is usually done with a clipper blade whereas a puppy cut is usually done with a comb attachment on the clipper.
