Ok, a bit of an update. The lady called me back this morning, which is quite funny, because this little one has been weighing on my mind. She asked me if I still might be interested in adopting "Ricky", I told her my concerns about him being left home all day alone just after losing his owner, and she said well no worries about that because he was home alot by himself when my son was going to Duke hospital, etc. I said well I am still not sure because I would hate to leave him alone, she said well I really like you and decided the other lady was just not a good fit. She said will you bring Roxie ( I told her all about Roxie..lol) and come and meet Ricky, just to see how he takes to you..omgosh. What am I to do? I really would love to adopt the guy but I still have concerns about him being home alone during the day. What do you guys think? Am I totally crazy, or is this fate and meant to be? She did state that the boys grandmother was having a hard time letting the dog go to just anybody because it was her grandsons dog. wow, i am totally at a loss here. |
