Marcel caught ringworm from his first vet; it was on top of his head. They have to grow out a skin culture, to confirm the ringworm (takes at least 10days). Then, if it's positive, they usually prescribe Fluconazole for 6-8 weeks. After the 6-8 weeks, another culture must be done to confirm whether the ringworm is gone or not. Yep, you are doing everything correct...I know it stinks having to wait for those culture results! Hang in there
