Tell me about it! Bruce always said when I was about to talk to my mother on the phone that the closer I got to the phone the stronger my accent got (and it used to be a strong northern English accent) - or if I was talking to cousins in Wales, my Welsh accent came out. Spent a lot of time in Wales with my Welsh grandparents (My mother was Welsh and my father was from the north of England) and slid into the Welsh accent a lot.
