I have been dreading winter and we're definitely getting some cold and windy weather now. It's been -10 celsius (14 fahrenheit) and I've been taking Darwin and Mabel out for their 8 walks a day. Then I was finding myself waiting for Mabel to pee, sometimes 25 minutes at a time. It wasn't until yesterday it dawned on me, maybe she didn't have to go that often. She is 6 months and hasn't messed in the house (except right after her spay) for about a month. Yesterday, I took her and Darwin out for only 4 walks. Each time she has been super fast, did her stuff and then was happy to come back in. This means not as many walks and also not waiting forever for her to pee!! I am now thinking winter won't be so bad! I love my little yorkies!!
