Most stores do send out sale papers or have online what they will have. I buy for myself occasionally and others. Sometimes you can get special items that are not out any other time. My friend has gotten toy sets like this for her kids in the past.
Honestly, I go for the sake of tradition with my friend and we end the day with Margarita's.
