After having worked retail for many years, I vowed never to shop on Black Friday unless my or husband's life depended on it! I had a very unpleasant experience many years ago when I worked a kiosk at Sears. My best friend asked me to buy a couple Cabbage Patch babies for her (she worked there as well) when I went on break. I obliged, but when I grabbed two blond girl dolls, a fellow customer actually grabbed one out of my arms, stating that I "didn't deserve TWO BLONDS!". Needless to say, after standing and waiting for almost an hour for them to go on sale, I GOT MY DOLLS! Both of them. Almost sent her to the hospital, I almost got fired, so much for Christmas spirit! At least my friend's grandaughters got their babies, and seeing their happy faces made it worth it for me!
