I always suggest people find the best breeder who will sell to them, you're not really buying a dog, you are supporting someone's breeding program, and you're saying,"Yes, people like this should be breeding dogs." We have an abundance of "pets" in this country, the only reason to breed is to preserve in and improve the breed. Those whose primary goal for breeding is just to earn money or some narcissistic notion that they can breed without studying the yorkie and its weaknesses are doing the breed more harm than good. One of the ways you can tell a good breeder from a byb is how they sell their dogs. |
